V J Singh's been quite good recently actually, getting back to his old self after quite a few years of missing cuts and getting injured

He'll qualify for the seniors tour soon, he is 48.

If you discard R1 Rory actually finished 2nd over the last 3 rounds!! Chappell had lowest last 54!

Obviously means nowt but still an interesting stat

A good stat, but would they have played the same way it things had been different. If Rory had needed to, would he have attacked more .... if the other guy was ahead, would his nerve have gone, who knows.

If Rory's shot at the 9th had gone in the water would the of been the start of the collapse?

Was that in the 4th round ? I think that his lead by that time was so large that the prospect of dropping one, or even two shots would not have bothered him this time, and just knowing that should relax him a bit more. Had his lead been 4 at that point again, then maybe, yes, I would have been worried - having said that, he was striking the ball so well, he could well have won starting the final round leading by one.
