Please take this to the bear pit now so we don't have the inane ramblings of the OP infesting the main board.
Sod it, let’s invade Belgium.
I think the UK " Declared War" when Johnson pronounced they were intending to break international law.
Seems the EU are declaring war on the UK. UvdC has just announced that, regarding us rescinding the Internal Market Bill, 'as of today we have received no such agreement with the UK'. Next step is legal but if that fails watch out.

Or how about, as a less inflammatory alternative, the EU are asserting their rights, as set out in the Withdrawal Agreement (agreed and signed by a certain Mr A B deP Johnson), through the dispute mechanism agreed and set out in said agreement?
The Chamberlain reference does make sense though - it's the EU who have been conciliatory, and us going rogue....

To be fair, at least from the majority NSC point of view, there's probably more frothing about the UK breaking the contract!UK are breaking a legal contract, what exactly did they expect the EU to do? Can you imagine the frothing if it was the EU breaking the contract!
Utter tosh.
But well done for moving into first place for the most idiotic post of the year.
Blimey, that's some claim amidst some top, top contenders in 2020.
Don't worry, you're still in the running
