Just stuck a tenner on De Zerbi so I've no skin in this one but I noticed on Paddy Power that Union Berlin manager Urs Fischer is in the market at 33-1.

Probably a speculative bet by someone but as a TB style outsider this one would interest me. Fast football utilising wingbacks and got Union 7th and 5th in the Bundesliga.

Out of our league I would think but another name I'd be more than happy with.

Anyone think we have any chance at all?

Yep.

There was an interesting BT Sport two-part film about Union berlin a couple of years back - about their return to the top league / fans / stadium in the woods! I enjoyed that, and subsequently loosely followed their progress and watched a good few matches.

Yes

We are 4th in one of the most competive leagues in the world. We should be shooting at the stars. Him or Ferreira would be awesome. Would prefer Fischer as he has experience of European football.

Get him in Tony!!

Funnily enough...Mrs.Wunt be Druvs' family are originally from Berlin and although she knows absolutely diddly squat about football and has absolutely no interest whatsoever...reckons he's shitehouse!

Top of the Bundesliga currently - would probably feel worse to their fans if he left than Potter and co deserting us right now!

In fact I'd say there are quite a few parallel's between us. He's done a wonderful job there over recent years and similar to us, it is a bit of a feel good story. I just can't see him leaving to join us at the moment.

So they are. And undefeated! Definitely a step down for him and a "doing a Chelsea" for us. Next! Bloody betting markets.

That's probably enough of a reason for a class act like Tony to place this in the "Managers to keep tabs on" file.

Unless, of course, Union want to replace Fischer with Tuchel.

Think they're undefeated since March or something like that.

They play medieval football though and that might be turn-off for Brighton.
