Yes, 6 of us in ESU today, loved it. Great view (for an upper tier), need a goal to get the singing going. I fear the singers are too spread out. V. easy to get a beer as well, which is good. It must have been full up there tonight so looks like we might have more tills per head than other stands in the ground. 8/10 for first night.

P.S. 794 Cardiff ? Looked half that.

Keep it going Pete, people will join in more as they feel comfortable with their new surroundings. Great effort by your lot Pete, pop down and say hello mate. I'm the fat bastard with the big silver scooter.

Mackail Smith by any chance?
Hope there was noise- but acoustic seem a little weird up there- we can't hear any of the tannoy info very well ( Everywhere else I have been it was deafening.)

Really needed the club to encourage a singing section,a good few up for it but scattered about, shame the club tickets have the front rows quite a few unfilled:eek:

The club have encouraged just that it is the North stand as it was at the Goldstone,if you want to stand and sing get a ticket for one of the corners next season in the exclusive North stand

Surprised no-one mention how early you arrived. What time did you get there to be the first in the whole stadium?

Yep that's me. The tannoy has never been clear in that corner, I sat in the west stand (north end) for the Chelsea and reading games, and it was a lot clearer.

I took along a mate who's a Leeds season ticket holder. He was blown away by the amex and the view of the game from the upper east.

I couldn't ask for better seats.

Not really matey i want a decent view of the game and the away fans, you don't have to stand up to be vocal.ps i went in the northstand at 11 too old now:mad: east stand perfect fewer steps fewer in the queue nearest the bus home.from ft to getting home was less than 30min with bus dropping me 6ft from my door:ohmy:perfect:wink:

For a first time out I thought East Upper made a good effort. Meanwhile the South Stand was half empty but had a really good go, could become the place to be. They so helped to improve the noise in my new spot in WSL.
