I do wonder if this could have legs as Adam wasn't at the training session yesterday...apart from Crofts everyone else was

Perhaps he wasn't best pleased after putting in solid performances in Greer's absence and then being dumped straight back on the bench the second GG was fit again.

Would still be a stange occurence as he is certialy needed as cover and will likely play a good few more games by the end of the season.

Barnsley were after him pre-season and he said the other day that he nearly went ???
With Dunk now back in the fold it might not be the biggest surprise and free up some cash to bring in someone young and pacy.

Would be very disappointed unless we had plans to bring a Virgil Van Dijk level CB in.

Greer, apart from being the captain, is clearly a better player, and Adam would almost certainly recognise that he's third of three centre backs. (3rd of 4 if you include Dunk). The third man is going to get 15 games a season through injuries and suspensions. If that's not enough for him, you can understand if he had a think about his future.

Everyone is fond of El Abd - be a shame if we get to the stage where we are completely lacking local lads - but surely everyone recognoises the limitations in his game, too?
