No it's a cock up by me, it was supposed to be Roger McGuinn's 5 string jangly guitar which he apparently had made specially for him which then went into limited production

It certainly doesn't look very jangly!
I thought RM played a (definitely jangly) 12-string Rickenbacker!

He does but when I saw him at Burgess Hill recently (and he was f***ing excellent, begs the question having heard him play a raft of Byrds song solo that sounded pretty well exactly like the Byrds" what did the rest of the group do?") he was talking about a 5 string guitar that he had made specifically for him, that went into limited production.
