Sussex, by the sea
I have a few car related pieces from work I've done over the years with old cars and drivers, Alan Mann, Jackie Stewart, and Stirling Moss, and a few genuine LeMans race cars. A lump of concrete from the east terrace . . .I don't have anything from musical adventures asides tickets and backstage passes.

Using regimental diaries and letters and maps we were able to say where my great grandfather was in the trenches in Belgium on a specific day and time during WW1, and exactly 100 years later to the minute we were in the same place, knowing we were within a few metres of where he'd been, so we've got a bit of soil from there. My only slightly unusual football memorabilia is a signed photo of Emlyn Hughes modelling a cable-knit wool jumper in a classic trying-to-look-relaxed pose. For no obvious reason at all he opened a clothing shop in the town I grew up in and signed these slightly odd promo photos.

On another trip to Lords, my dad saw Viv Richards in the crowd and asked for his autograph. He refused saying it was his day off so all I have is a black and white photo of him posing awkwardly.

David Gilmour's armpit
The zipper part from Ozzy Osbourne's white trousers he wore (and then threw into the crowd, which were torn apart) at a Dome gig in the 80's, and signed by the bat-muncher himself.

I forgot, I have one of Johnny Depp’s coats from PotC that I accidentally forgot to take off after a shoot. It wasn’t a Pirates film but was set in the same era so the film studio used a lot of the same wardrobe. And I have a plastic rifle, one of hundreds rejected from the set of Saving Private Ryan because in the beach landing scene they all floated. Somebody got fired that day! They were kept and I swiped one from a series they were used on a few years later.

Disappointingly I lost it at some point (I have no idea how), but when I was a child a guy at the Robot Wars bit at Modelworld in the Brighton centre gave me one of the spikes off the front of Tornado.

You might need to be of a certain age to quite understand how exciting that was for me.

"Accidentally forgot..." :lolol:

Nice memento, that.

Oh I have many “accidents” at home. That’s sounds wrong :)
You know what I mean!
All sorts of bits and bobs from film sets. A lot of it is taken from wardrobe where they have boxes and boxes of stuff and you are allowed to rummage to add stuff to your costume. Usually took something away. I’ve got a mug from The Bill canteen somewhere.

I have a Renault security pass on a lanyard signed on each side by the drivers at the time Giancarlo Fisichella and Fernando Alonso (he is TINY).

Somewhere in my garden is a small patch of grass that was originally a piece of turf from the Goldstone. I'm not entirely sure where it is now tbh, but there's an element of "Triggers broom" about it now I guess.

There must be quite a few extras, or crew, who have a bit of Trigger's broom at home.

If you can get a closer shot of the Arabic text with less reflection I will try and work that out for you through the power of magique.

I'll see what I can do later!

Lots of WW2 bits I collected as a kid.
Also a couple of Star Wars signed film cells...Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett) & Kenny Baker (R2D2)

Much prized as weve now lost both of them.

You have reminded me of another of my dad's 'specials'. He played in a Celebrity golf tournament at his club so was despatched with my autograph book. He came back with Des O'Connor's pianist - that isn't a euphemism - I think his name was Colin Keyes.

They are appalling aren't they?

How very dare you.

I'll have you know Leon Knight IS 3 times the height of Guy Butters.
Who in turn has a considerably darker complexion than Leon Knight.

I have a show worn Rimmer "H", worn by Chris Barrie in Red Dwarf. It is made of plastic.

Sorry to quote myself, just sharing as lots of my tastes intertwine. I've got a signed photo from meeting Rik Mayall, as a mid-teen and huge fan I found a high-resolution photo of him and took it to a shop to print(!). Not something I'd dream of doing now, but I'm really glad I did.

I went to the stage door after a production of "Present Laughter" at the Theatre Royal, Brighton. Rik came bounding out, exactly as he was on the telly, Lord Flashheart in the flesh.

I offer him my my photo to sign and he went off in true Rik style; "where the bloody hell did you get this, not even my agent has pictures this good!" and so on. He signed it and put a HUGE copyright logo in the corner of the picture with a wink and a big grin. Absolutely brilliant. Also happily posed for a photo doing the classic Rik/Richie face.

One other bit to the story, Present Laughter is a very family safe Noel Coward farce comedy with nothing stronger than a "damn" in it. Rik messed up one of this lines, stopped, looked at the audience and loudly yells "****!". Obviously gets a prompt from the DSM and continues.

First thing he does when it comes out the stage door is loudly announce; "ladies and gentlemen, sorry for the **** up tonight"

I have 2 seats from the South Stand at the Goldstone, the only stand at the ground I never went in.
Also, Lee Steeles balloon from the league winning parade along the seafront.
Norman Cooks rejected sample Palookaville shirt.
A pouch made from a kangaroo scrotum.
2 sets of Albion Russian Dolls from that shop at the end of one of those bridges in Prague.
Several of the banners that were used in the mid 2000s while campaigning for Falmer.

I too have a Russian doll set bought in Prague. The shop owner was a huge Brighton fan, he used to travel to Brighton when we were at the theatre of trees.
If I recall, my set consists of Virgo, Butters, Cullip, Kuipers, Knight.
