Much has been made this week of the fact that, perhaps, Ashley Barnes may not have been as appreciated as he could have been whilst he was here.

What other players through the annals of Albion history didn't get the love they perhaps deserved & looking back now you consider to be actually pretty decent & you maybe got wrong?

Marcos Painter whilst in League One. A good left back for that standard.

 

[Cowfold Seagull]

Dean Hammond. Excellent for us, particularly in his first spell with the club, Never spectacular, but the sort of player, (rather like Dale Stephens), whio you only ever eally notice, when he isn't playing.. Able to run from box to box, playing passes, and got through a lot of work.

 

[Fourteenth Eye]

Alan Navarro.

A key part of the Gus evolution/revolution & formed the base of that midfield 3 with Crofts & Dicker.

Gus claimed that Navs was our best player at the time !!
