Will do, portlock seagull - L. by the P already added. :)

As for you, wendy's tackle, it's a real shame that your 2nd post in 7 years has to be on this thread - but many thanks for doing so.

My stone should also say 'Forever' and not 'For ever'.

I'm very careful with my posts. Oops, that's three now.

Not that I am aware of.

Not aware that they have one, or not aware if anyone has seen it?

Having made my eyes go funny by searching the grid, I finally found it - 9 across and 24 down, cert.no. 0218. Does seem a bit 'off' just having it buried amongst all the other ones. In my opinion, it should certainly be placed in a much more notable position, considering the efforts that they put in.

Anyone else agree/disagree?

here and there
Please add me to this list too - certificate 0330. considering it was initially meant to be a name on a seat, and then a high quality stone in a special location the tiny poor quality slabs are a real disappointment.

Certificate Number 0218
Across 9 Down 24

Thanks for that. It's the first I'd heard of it. Put me down as someone with a gripe about an actual stone, then.

Cheers, Lord Bracknell - and all the other recent contributors! Those of you who have not yet added your cert.no.'s, PLEASE make the effort to do so. :)

So, here is the current updated list, but let's not stop there. Must be loads of you who have yet to post or know someone who is just as disappointed, but may not be a member of NSC...so get them involved! You know it makes sense.

(Oh, and 'wendy's tackle'.....don't get carried away, now! lol. )

I entirely agree. Given the area where they have been placed I feel they could have made the stones bigger while I appreciate the size was stated when purchased. The first time I looked for my stone (without the stone location map from the club) I am sure I went cross eyed and was on the verge of fainting (and no alcohol was consumed. Perhaps we could tipex the blue every month!
