Mighty fine choice by yourself and Sir Doug...Gloucestershire is a fantastic county to live in, if you get bored of traipsing round the country (or short on the spends) following the Albion you will be sure of a friendly welcome at the New Lawn.

 na i wouldnt go to the Uni but I will be living their,i went to Bristol for uni:thumbsup: agreed though lovely part of the world! I may hit a few Chelt games actually.

I am of the opinion that unless you go to a decent prestigous uni, then all uni does is increase your debt and does nothing for your competitive advantage. What does a degree do these days, if everyone has one? Discuss.

Give you access to the thousands of jobs/careers that require you to have one in order to enter?

Some say the course is more important, some say it's the Uni. All I know is, every time I'm asked which Uni I went to, and respond with "Nottingham", they say "what, the real one?", or "trent, you mean?"

I used to live in Buckingham, before I went to Uni. As has been said, it's pretty quiet but I imagine it to be quite a good student town as there are quite a few decent pubs there. While I lived there, one of the students was having some action with Kim Wilde too.

I think one of the major thing that hasn't been discussed on here is that throws you in with people from a number of backgrounds, some of which you get on with, some which you can't stand.

.. and that's just the shared accomodation.

It definately forces you to grow up.
