Most GCSE and A-Levels have gone full circle and are exam based againHow times change. For example, when I did my A-Levels - Physics, Pure Maths and Applied Maths, only log tables could be used, all workings had to be shown and the grade / pass / fail was based solely on the exam, nothing on course work.
