So far I’ve heard Luke Shaw say it was not a foul on Enciso that lead to the corner that lead to the penalty award, and that he was ‘nudged’ as his arm was in the air. Also had Peter Schmeichal say that the referee had waved all the play acting away up until the Shaw/Enciso moment but then let himself down.

How many more piss poor excuses, rather than saying Brighton looked the more likely team to score and the penalty award was correct?

Being complimentary in midweek press conferences is contrived.

That's true, but just before Enciso got pushed over by god, Undav was fouled, so we should have had a free-kick anyway.

That's possibly true too, same as happened to Dunk against Forest. But it's a contact sport, and players will get nudged a bit.

The ref gave quite a few incorrect fouls to Utd. Schmeichal is a biased twat.

I thought it was a foul on Enciso. Yes, he exaggerated the impact with a dramatic fall, and I didn't thiink Shaw deserved a yellow for it (though one report I read said it was for dissent, so maybe it was deserved on that basis), but Shaw's arm is out to deliberately stop Enciso tuning and running behind him. That's a foul.
