Have to say the quality of football, speed and physicality is so far below what we are used to here now. Not a great standard considering these are the best of the league. No crowd probably doesn't help.

Mitoma and Kozlowsi both out injured, so a point here would be a very acceptable outcome for USG.

Great reception. Will be interesting to see what Mola has to offer in the future

Union St. Gilloise vs RSC Anderlecht is live on Sunday at 12.30.

Mola's parent company own Italian team Como 1907 so they feature quite heavily in their coverage of Serie B.

Didnt see the game as I was out and about but 1 point is good. Really hope they win the league but at the very least they will be playing in Europe which is a great achievement in itself.

if we was to finish in a European place and blooms other team was to qualify for champions league where would that leave us with bloom owning 2 teams in same competition

It probably wouldn’t matter. RB Leipzig and RB Salzburg are both allowed to enter European competition, and have even played each other, despite both being owned by Red Bull GmbH.

Brighton and USG have separate boards, Tony Bloom may be the majority shareholder but he has someone else installed as chairman at USG to keep everything separate.

While Europe is possible in the not too distant future, Champions League qualification for Brighton is a pretty distant dream.

USG: Moris - Kandouss, Burgess, Van der Heyden - Nieuwkoop, Lazare Amani, Nielsen, Teuma, Lapoussin - Vanzeir, Undav

Anderlecht: Van Crombrugge - Sergio Gomez, Hoedt, Magallan, Olsson - Verschaeren, Refealov, Cullen, Some Long Ukrainian Name - Zirkzee, Kouame

Because of a variety of injuries (like Kozlowski and Mitoma, among others) USG only have 7 substitutes today

USG - Anderlecht 1-0

Bit flukey goal with a lot of bounces and stuff but not undeserved. Anderlecht has had most of the ball so far with USG looking dangerous on counters.

Undav looks pretty rubbish!! Bit like a worse version of mitrovic

Standard of football is atrocious

Poor game so far. Looks like it is quite windy out there because the ball seems to live a life of its own... every pass leaving the ground appears to be misjudged by the recieving/running player.
