Good stuff. Probably expensive for TB, need to recruit some players to stay up and probably also do some work on their stadium to meet the requirements of the first division.

Is that more to do with Floodlights, goal line tech VAR etc

Ye. I read something in some Union SG group on Facebook, some fans think they might need a new stadium. Their current one is a landmark or something and cant be altered much. Might get a special permit to play there for a season or two but going to need to fix some required stuff + probably start initating building a new one, and building stadiums is not cheap these days anywhere in Europe.

Thought they spent a few years away while they updated it just before TB bought it. I know the main stand is protected and it's on the edge of a park so there limitations.

The current stadium is one of the finest in Europe for stadium enthusiasts and a whole loads of nostalgia! Worth a trip for any Albion fans after lockdown - great bunch of fans.
