Left it late in the cup away to SK Beveren (part owned by Beaky's mate David Blitzer). Quarter final home to Anderlecht (January 16,17 or 18) and, for the winners, KAA Gent or Club Brugge in the semi final. First leg January 23, 24 or 25/second leg February 27, 28 or 29.

Mohamed Amoura is on great form. Looks a very quick, technically gifted and tricky player.

Something I’d not realised about that rule until re-reading it then is that the loan or transfer of players between USG and BHA is prohibited until the END of the summer 24 window. So pointless looking at their current squad, doing very nicely in the league, and seeing who might make the step up to the PL next season.

Is Amoura classed as a striker then? From what I gather, he's more a Messi than a Harry Kane.

Messi absolutely was a "striker" for a long time.
He played as a false 9 for quite a few seasons.
