Unintentionally funny SLOGANS you may have seen?

Eastbournians of a certain vintage still chuckle about the posh girls' school that proudly used the following slogan on their advertising for several years...


"Moira House - Where Girls Come First"

They probably also remember the narrow right turning lane on the old A22 at Polegate, where the abbreviated direction sign to Wannock was beautifully painted on the carriageway.

In our local Morrisons the sign above this week's bread - "Our Baker's Special" - makes me feel how kind the staff must be and what a nice feeling that must give the baker each day when he comes in to work.
