I see what you are saying, And I agree but after a long week at work (or NSC) the last thing you want to do on a friday night is have to think about a film beyond what is happening on screen is it?
I like all sorts of films, but I do wonder if I had not gone and seen films like Zodiac on a friday I would have enjoyed it more?

Very true. I try and watch a variety of genre, but it was aimed at portion of society that sticks to mainstream cinema.
I tend too mainly because its whats on, although I am trying to watch more and les has leant me a couple of films I would have never have watched before and enjoyed them both.
We can imagine what sort of films they were can`t we ?
Beowulf was very poor.
