Hmmmm, CMS still on crutches, several players off form, relegation scrap anyone?

Perspective needed. 2 months equates to six games. Even if we don't win a game until Leo is back we'd still have 30 more games after that, which is enough to still get us into the top 6, never mind mid-table mediocrity.

But who's to say he'll be the same player when he returns?. Seen plenty of players who was good before Injuries and once returned become utter gash.

People seem to forget we have Barnes ???

No...we don't forget. We listen to fans who say he can play down the middle, the target man, the lone striker role. Then we go to Ipswich and watch him and realise that he can't. Physically, he isn't strong enough. Centre halfs lean on him and he can't hold the ball. The slightest nudge and the ball rebounds three yards off him. He can't win the ball in the air. He is a link-up player, a support player.
We only had one target man anyway and now we have none. No one who can head the ball, upfront.
Action.....please!

Hopefully the club will be able to get a decent loanee in now as they'll pretty much be guaranteed 1st team football, whereas before they'd be a backup to Ulloa.

So it is really 4 months then, I have never known a player in recent times to comeback when first stated, it has always seemed to be doubled.

Not good at all

Its interesting that we are looking at Bakary Sako.

Good player but is not going to solve our striker problem. He is a left winger and we have recently taken Conway on loan. Unless Oscar is thinking of Buckley or LuaLua down the middle.

loving your positivity !!

It's bloody needed in amongst the doom and gloom bed wetters on here. Leo's got an injury that happens to loads of professional footballers at one time or other in their career: Beckham, Gerrard, Rooney (twice), Messi, Ashley Cole, are just a few of the higher profile examples. It seems that all of them recover and are just as good as previously.

There are 2 international breaks over the next 2 months, so he may only miss 6 games, yet people are overreacting and going on about a relegation dogfight despite the fact that we're currently 8 points clear and can look forward to getting our player of the season back, along with Orlandi and CMS sometime in the next 5-6 weeks. And last point: apart from the palace and Huddersfield home games last year, our most emphatic wins - 6-1 Blackpool, 5-1 Barnsley, 3-0 Ipswich and Wednesday - were all without Ulloa playing.
