Have I missed something on Bridcutt? He was supposed to be back in training 3 weeks ago.

Andy Naylor tweeted earlier this evening that Bridcutt is still weeks away from making a return to the first team.

Who's that man from Argentina?
Who's that man we all adore?
Leonardo is his name and he's out for several games
and it's all on Ashley Barnes to score

May have just pulled his calf? But didn't look great.

Clearly I'm no Dr, or have I viewed the patient, but that wasn't a pulled calf.
As others have said it's achilles ankle or ligaments, deffo not calf.

Suspected stress fracture of the foot according to Naylor tweet. Off to hospital for a scan.

Don't know how long that would put him out for.

So 5 more games and a couple of international breaks between now and 23rd November. Bridcutt, CMS, Orlandi and (maybe) Ulloa will be back fit by then with 31 games still to play. It could be worse.

Not forgetting how far we would have dropped in the betting.

They'll be money to be made, this season.

Does that infer he fell awkwardly or took a snidey stamping on his foot ?
My instant thought was he got a 'tap' on the ankle.

But it only looked like a tap, I wouldn't be surprised if it was the fall.

So a hairline fracture then. Not good, if that's slow in the healing process that could be the end of his season.

4-8 weeks, but could be worse depending on severity.
