Ukraine crisis: Russia aid convoy 'invades Ukraine'

"Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko has accused Russia of a "flagrant violation of international law" after Russian humanitarian aid lorries entered Ukraine without permission.

More than 100 Russian lorries had entered on Friday without any customs clearance or Red Cross escort, he said.

Reports say the first trucks have reached the rebel-held city of Luhansk in the eastern war zone.

Russia accused Ukraine of unreasonable obstruction and sent the convoy in.

Ukraine's security chief Valentyn Nalyvaychenko said it was a "direct invasion" but no force would be used against the convoy as it wished to avoid "provocations".

Reports suggest the lorries are being escorted by rebel fighters.

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said it was not part of the convoy "in any way".

Russia's foreign ministry has warned Ukraine not to take any action against the convoy, without specifying the consequences."

Just heard from someone I know in Dnepropetrovsk that the President wants martial law now . Sad situation . Many people want to move from Dnepropetrovsk , they don't know where to , just that they are frightened . These are people who were pro Kiev and are not so happy with them now .

No one's denying that Ukraine has bombed the Donestk region. However, it's disputed as to where a lot of these rockets are being fired from, an alarming amount of evidence suggesting GRADs being fired from Russia into Ukraine. Now it's being made known that Russian forces are in operation within the region.

Grozny '94 is all I have to say, if you ignore the main reason why Russians got slaughtered in that siege, then you're playing blind and/or relying on RT too much.

Looks like you have been watching too much CNN , FOX or BBC , by the way I do watch RT as well as BBC and also Al Jazeer and French 24 to get an average view of what is happening . Why would the Russians bomb there own Russian speaking , pro Russian Ukrainian civilians ? I don't think even Putin is so stupid . F--k all in the trucks ?? , did you see them unloading the parcels in Donetsk area , probably not because it was not on BBC ? the people were so thankful just for some food and water , pity the Kiev government are not so concerned .

I know a few people in Dnepropetrovsk who I met at the Euro's who I have heard from recently and they were pro Kiev to start with but are now turning against them , so if you hear it from the horses mouth I think this is better than any news channel , don't you agree ?
