Ukip are easy to bash because you can't offend them. That's why you have silly groups who target them instead of going after the real people who create a lot of the real problems in this country.
Agree basher, personally I #BlameStockdale

It is a disgrace, however no company is going to pay more than they have too. We have an over supply of workers more than happy to work on that rate too, it highlights the point ukip make in that respect. Yes the government can try and push a higher minimum wage through, but it would not be popular with smaller business if they are struggling now. One way to may be do it is to regulate what agencies charge, so that more could be paid to workers. Isn't it the case that agencies say charge the employer 8 per hour but pay the workers 6.50 per hour?
And that my friend is the real issue. Immigration has nowt to do with it. Ask yourself why you think it is not possible for this country to push through a living wage. We are fed a line by our media and politicians, but the one we are being fed i.e. it's all Europe's fault, is not the right one.
This might help to explain, from the lips of Ed.
Quote: " Immigration has nowt to do with it.".......and " Ask yourself why you think it is not possible for this country to push through a living wage
Miliband told the BBC that:
“We lost trust and we lost touch, particularly in the south of England, I think that living standards is a big part of it, I think immigration is a part of it too.”
“I don’t think we lied, but I do think we got it wrong in a number of respects, first of all we underestimated the number of people coming in from Poland, and that had more of an effect therefore than we would otherwise have thought.”
“And secondly I think there is this really important issue of people coming together, more people coming into this country, and the PRESSURES on peoples WAGES.”

Who said I believed in Ed?
Stop believing in what you are fed.
Not "fed", stated by the leader of the party that is hoping and fooling people in to voting for Labour again. I was just responding to your claims that " Immigration has nowt to do with it."......clearly even Ed and a few others that have spoken out, feel that immigration has......and as admitted "more people coming into this country, and the PRESSURES on peoples WAGES.”
Don't you realise? Politicians will say ANYTHING to get elected.
Of course, but to have to admit that you got it wrong on the amount of immigration and the affect it had on wages and the NHS is hardly a good start when trying to convince voters that you are fit to govern again.
You obviously don't realise it then.
Their policies are disgraceful - and consider that they will be sugar coating them (or leaving many out) in order to win votes.
More prisons, harsher laws, scrap the human rights act, abandon green energy in favour of industrial era plants, increased military budget, more money to the rich and less to the poor, privatisation of the NHS and so on.
I would imagine a hypothetical UKIP Britain would be like a return to industrial age Britain, except with an authoritarian and dystopian twist. It genuinely wouldn't surprise me if they would like to introduce labour camps or make Muslims wear yellow badges.
Realise what? . I am afraid after your initial response your posts have not made sense. I realise that Labours record on immigration and the effect on wages and the strain on the NHS have had a massive impact. Both backed up by the current leader and prominent members of the party at that time.

It's certainly not as simple as just saying "it's all Europe's fault!"
Don't you perhaps think that Mr Milliband is resorting to the very worst of political behaviour i.e. responding to focus group culture. He's saying these things to chime with what appears to be a popular trend i.e. immigration needs to be controlled. Personally, I think the freedom of movement is a very good thing. I also believe the lack of access to work for British people is not the fault of immigration, but the fault of pay and shoddily executed employment law. The problem is this, when you consider the two phrases "it's all Europe's fault" and "it's about pay and employment law", only one of these phrases is easy to market, and politicians (and the public, because we're a bit lazy about these matters to be frank) prefer the easy message.
Now do you realise why politicians will say ANYTHING to get elected?
Not nice when I worked for a local company knew the job, and was told there wasn't any more work. As I walking out the door on my final day a load of agency staff walked in. I know it's not the workers fault but it felt like a kick in the teeth, even more so because I had worked for the company previously for over four years and was my first proper job after leaving school. Funny enough a year later the company folded. I still knew people who worked there when it was going downhill, and they told me that loads of mistakes where being made by agency staff. That's a result of unskilled Labour right there.
Even my brother in law who himself is a fully qualified electrician is never one to talk politics but even he said to me on some sites he works on the general health and safety and quality of work done by Eastern Europeans was of a very poor standard and he had to correct it.
If these politicians actually got on the ground and got their hands dirty for a change, they might have a better understanding of what is going on out there in the real world.
You're a dangerous idiot if you vote Ukip.
You're an idiot if you vote Conservatives.
You're an idiot if you vote Labour
You're an idiot if you vote Lib dems.
Youre an idiot if you vote Greens.
But you're an idiot if you don't vote!?
Strange world we live in eh?
It's a good thing therefore that the current government have shown such tenacity and commitment in dealing with the subject of immigration.
