This was a tough one.... YO wins probably ebcause off my age. The University Challenge episode just can never be forgotten.

The outstanding tie of the round and would have been a worthy final. I really can't decide. TYO was absolutely groundbreaking when it came out and it really did 'break the mould' of traditional comedy. On the other hand FT was at times brilliant y surreal and every episode is a gem. So Ted for me. No, hang on, Young Ones. No, Ted it is. But on the other hand ... (abstaining).

I've not watched enough of the Young Ones where as I LOVE Ted.

Speed 3 and Song for Europe are two classics in my mind.

Voted Father Ted [though I don't find it amazingly funny] The Young Ones for me has not dated well - too 80's politically.
This is IMHO the weakest quarter final. Neither deserve to get to the semi's !!
