what about the Balester in 3.10 to Yuma Les

Not bad (lets be honest theres no such thing as a bad bale performance). Thought Ben Foster (Russell Crowes Psycho sidekick) gave the best performance in that.

Decent romp if slightly spoiled by the end. Needed a bit more development on Crowes character to convince.

I think one of my worst films seen this year at cinema has to be Outlaw - tosh.

I am no great Balester fan, his Bruce Wayne voice annoys me, and obviously tire of remakes, but i should give that a view, yes. I got a preview ticket, but felt too ill that night to go.

He does have an odd manner of talking that makes his american accents a bit weird. It was fine for American Psycho as there was a hyper reality to it that lent itself to a slight mannered accent but in films without that formic and thematic quality it does come across as a bit strange.

Bale tour de force performances

1. The Machinist - should have won the oscar
2. Empire of the Sun
3. American Psycho

Exactly. It's possible to see that his Patrick Bateman and Bruce Wayne wear a similar social mask, each smug and all-conquering to disguise their true being of hero or murderous imaginer.

Agree with Meado about Hot Fuzz. Was really looking forward to it, but - a bit like the Parole Officer with Coogan - it just got worse and worse after a good start.

Bourne is about the only one on there with any decent claims.
