How very odd OP that 'nicht' and 'nein' are assigned to Howe and the Portugeezer instead of the German and Austrian managers!
If he feels he needs some players that are already supportive of him, to help win over the dressing room, I could se him coming in for a couple.
Sanchez and Caicedo would be perfect transfers, as they both have a high ceiling and are already good enough to play at that level.
Other than that I can't see him being interested in any of our other players.
You also said Potter wouldn’t be interested to go to Chelsea.Seen PLENTY of posts about Graham Potter and Chelsea coming to sign Sanchez, Webster, Trossard, Caicedo and Ali Mac.
What is that based on?
Certainly not on managers usually doing that. Here's all the managers with a previous club (anyone except Arteta) who were in charge in the summer (= not O'Neil, Crofts and Potter) and how they've gone about it.
Jurgen Klopp

16 managers, 4 players (5 if you count the kid from Rangers). And you're saying GP is going to sign five players from Brighton?
That managers frequently go for players from former clubs is a myth. Don't worry about it.
Given that he insisted that his man Macauley be embedded within Winstanley's recruitment team, I think its fair to assume he had more of a say, and gave more direction, than Hughton did.
But of course, Winstanley is still here and the Starlizard data is still here. There's no disaster there.
Am interesting point.
There is no doubt in my mind that Potter had been tapped up by Chelsea some considerable time before Tuesday.
That Potter in my thoughts is little more than a conniving personality, it does beg the question as to how much influence he had in Cucurella s transfer.
We’ve been the victims of a confidence scam

Indeed.
To get 6 members of our staff all lined up in a row, will have taken weeks of negotiations.
Potter is truly a duplicitous character and void of any moral worth.
Pritchard treatment at the Amex please.Indeed.

It does help to explain why Tuchel has been significantly more arsey this season.
The writing has clearly been on the wall for him on the day the new chairman took over.
How can you manage properly when you already know that Potter was in place behind your back.
I'm worried about Caicedo, MacAllister and Trossard, all of whom can make the step up to Champions League football. Hopefully he won't be a total ******* and leave our squad well alone.
Many Chelsea fans aren't very impressed about Tuchel being replaced with Potter!I really wouldn't worry.
Chelsea have spent a whack and have a number of rather talented players who already fit the mould. I don't think Chelsea fans would be impressed if GP was signing Brighton players over players from other existing CL clubs.
Sanchez and Caicedo would be on their way anyway - it doesn't really matter if they go to Chelsea or elsewhere.
I had had a glimmer of hope that we could get Mac Allister and Trossard to extend contracts, but I think this has now somewhat diminished. Shame. Veltman could also now be less likely to extend. Shame again.
Tony needs eye-watering fees for any that go.

Is there any upper limit to a release clause, anyone know? If not, TB should be updating certain players' contracts pronto tonto
