One thing that does seem a bit odd is that with the proliferation of CCTV, satellites and camera phones there have not been any better photos / video. They always seem grainy and out of focus and could really be anything.

I suppose if we did get some really sharp photos or video we would think they are fake because of how easy it is now to doctor photos with Photoshop, AI etc.

There’s a TV series called “Curse of Skinwalker Ranch” that seems to have captured pretty good footage and the leading investigator is an Astro Physics PHD and skeptic.

It’s not proven anything concrete yet but there’s a whole bunch of high quality scientific data from it that at least asks questions and gives exactly what you’re after in terms of image clarity.

It’s a good watch, and I say that as a massive skeptic and believer in the need for high quality evidence.

I won't believe anything until I have the choice of voting for Kang or Kodos.

2024 is going to be a profoundly important year in terms of extra terrestrial life.

It seems that at least one paper will be published showing strong evidence for bio-signatures on nearby exoplanets.

I predict that by the end of the decade, the acknowledgment that single celled life forms are common place in the Universe will be common place.

Complex life……..who knows.

I think you are probably right but millions of earthlings are going to feel very let down if after years of SETI the outcome is not this

But this:

Which ironically might prove more deadlier to the human race than little green men!

I have a friend (Lukas) in Slovakia who, just two days ago sent me this picture he'd taken with his camera.
I commented that considering the content of his photo and the tiny area of space it captured, there just couldn't be any way that we're alone out here.
Nb These are Slovakian stars etc so might differ from the British ones we see. ;)
Oh, and a picture of his chilly camera set up for interest.

Thing is its taken billions of years of freak events and perfect conditions to get to where we are, it's more likely we're alone which is quite sobering

Yeah, it's odd that despite everyone carrying a camera, no one can get a photo of the real Santa Clause

UFOs are so 1990s.

They are now referred to as UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena).

When 'The Anunnaki' return to Earth, (soon baby) we will purge bad spellers and pedants......

I have an episode of The Avengers on DVD from around '65. UFOs were so new then, they repeatedly referred to them as 'A UFO? Yes, an UnidentiFied Object". Weird. Spooky, even ??? Unidentified objects. Strange.

And too far away from the nearest habitable planet for us ever to find out.

(It is at moments like this that I thank the Supreme Being that Swanny the Swansman is no longer on NSC, ready to fight anyone who thinks that 6G and vaccines are a useful addition to the human armamentarium).

Well, to be fair, I recently upgraded my Avengers DVDs, now that the bally lot can be bought in one box set, from Cathy Gale to Tara King

(Retirement is looking increasingly appealing)

😘

You do you, Harry!

I'm a bit young for The Avengers, but can totally appreciate Diana Rigg (RIP) in leather 😍
