Saints, Leicester, Palace; holy shit. Bigger wage bill than A.C Milan. A.C Milan!

At least Leicester won the league and can think of this as some kind of backdated pay. What have saints and palace got to show for it? Relegation battles. Bargain.

It's really impressive how good spurs are considering their relatively low wages.

That's just wages?

Transfer fees and other (non wage) club running costs on top?

That calls for a Good Grief.

I assume €132m of that goes to Zaha?

Seems at odds with the figures published for average salaries by club.

I thought Southampton were 'the' model club, selling their talent at high prices (to Liverpool) and reinvest in their fantastic yoof set up.

We all know who’s on huge wages at Palace and Leicester and we all know who delivers for those wages and who doesn’t.

I’m trying to think of which players Southampton have thrown big wages at because while they’re not bad the majority of the squad are bang average.

Reveals awful strategic management at CP and Stains. Panicky throwing of countless £millions, on average players.

Palace are also always in the European top 25 for transfer fees squad cost. Again, mugged.

And the majority of fans still see Parish as a saviour. A fool and his money are soon parted.

Barely. Puts Palace in 7th, closely next to Southampton and Leicester. The graph above puts them 9th closely next to Leicester and Southampton. Unless I’m missing something..?

Also the OP was TOTAL wage bill. The graph above is AVERAGE wage bill. Perhaps Palace have more players?

I was referring to the absence of West Ham & Everton.
