The quite splendid Athletic Bilbao to win convincingly.

Pending clarification of financial restruictions, Fernando Llorente will sign for the Seagulls in the next 24 hours, mark my words.

Athletic Club all the way.

I've been getting in the mood with this slightly dodgy English language 'anthem', which is in the style of all those Cup Final singles of the 70s and 80s.

Saw Barcelona v Athletico Bilbao last month at New Camp. Barca made them look very average!

Real Madrid did the same a few days ago. Nevertheless, when Athletic are on song, they're a joy to watch. Their Old Trafford performance was astonishing.

I get irrationally irritated when everyone calls Barca's ground "The Nou Camp" when it is in fact Camp Nou but this one is a first.

Yes, Yes I know overly pedantic but I did say it was irrational!

Well, Nou does translate to New, however Camp really should be translated to Field if Surrey Jim was going to use that argument...

I'll be cheering on Athletic Bilbao.

Seen all their games since the Manure match and have really enjoyed watching them.

And please can we have have Llorente?

Has any foreign club side ever featured in seven live matches on terrestrial TV in one season? Surely Five's coverage of Bilbao must be some kind of record? Not that I'm complaining, mind you!

I am still thrilled by the fact that Athletico Madrid's ground is called the Vicente Calderon.

It makes me smile every time I think of it.
