Done some good stuff but also a lot of fillers on their albums.

For me it has to be - ONE - there is nothing in their back catelogue that come close to this perfection of a song. I love it when the bassline comes in at the start, that baseline to the song is awesome. Moving and poignant song, still play it relentlessly 10 years after its release.

Also like, Pride In the Name of Love, The Unforgetable Fire

The one on Joshua tree...the live one where he says about Sarf Africa and says " am I buggin ya...I don't mean to bug ya..." and then " Edge...play the blues...."

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
My favourie is actually the Oakenfold Perfecto remix of Even better than the real thing on 12'.

The ONE and ONLY U2 record that I am ever likely to own.

"Exit" on the Rattle And Hum DVD is fantastic. Also The Fly, God Part II, Bad.
U2 have consistently been my favourite band of all time. Last two albums have been pretty shite though. Vertigo much better.

Much prefer their early stuff and the Red Rocks 'Under A Blood Red Sky' concert video is a classic gig.

I also do wonder what the Edge would sound like without a digital delay! He's go in to cold turkey!:p

The b-side from One called "Lady with the spinning head" is very good.

I think their best Albums are probably Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby.

One is a good song. I've got a fantastic version of it by Johnny Cash on a compilation.

only ever bothered to buy one album and from that i suppose it has to be "i will follow".

It sounds like they used a triangle in it, which is fine by me.

Best track on the Joshua Tree. Listen to the emotion in Bonos voice.

Written in tribute to a roadie and close friend of the group who was killed in a road accident while the album was being recorded.

1 One Tree Hill
2 All I Want Is You
3 Beautiful Day
4 Sunday Bloody Sunday
5 Unforgettable Fire ( listen for the whispered `Oh Sh*t in the intro - after the drumsticks)

With or without you.

Reminds of a kick-in I received in 1988 whilst trying to gate crash a party.

Apart from the odd punch in the mush & the odd hoof in the gonads I just remember 'With or without you.......' playing in the backkground (The song could have applied to my gonads & teeth - thinking about it! ???)
