I would say it's the U2 brand that is keeping them going now, the volumes of steadfast fans who refuse to hear a bad word against them and then the numbers of people who attend the gigs to say "I've Seen U2" and possibly thinking it was not as good as I was expecting.
The Late 70's and throughout the 80's their gigs were raw energy! Now it's "the brand!"
