I think the most galling thing about the entire shameful farce will be that now Jake Paul, a shameful farce of a man, will be crowing about having beaten arguably the toughest boxer of the last however many years.

I can just hear his arrogance already.

He and his brother are just terrible human beings. Awful wastes of oxygen.

Look, you don’t know me or anything about me, but I love boxing. Real boxing. I’m no fighter myself, I could barely crush a grape (Stu Francis reference), but I think it’s a sport which is permanently desperate for credibility.

Terrible judging, refereeing, mismatches, and - yes - worked fights are a reality across all levels of boxing.

Something like this comes along now and again and makes (more of) a mockery of the sport and I don’t like it.

Will I watch the YouTube highlights? Probably, it’s worth the fraction of penny they’ll get in revenue and the two five second ads. Would I buy this ridiculous farce like a chump? No.
I saw a tweet that said something along the lines of the real winner last night was the UFC as more fans turn off from boxing and look for their fighting fix elsewhere.

I forgot about the 'fight' until I saw this thread again a few minutes ago.

I feel like I've won.

Friends of mine, apparently in the know within boxing circles, lumped on Jake Paul to win in rounds 1,2 or 3. I said, nah, boring match with few punches thrown and going to a decision...

The twat lost to Tommy Fury and beat an old man in a show match, I wouldn’t be shouting from any roof tops if I was him.
He will never fight a real pro currently on the circuit he would get destroyed.
Can’t argue about his business model though he’s cleaning up.

The 'nicest' fight ever.
No wonder the crowd were booing.
Imagine what a 22 year old Tyson would have done to him....

That I would pay to see

(with the caveat that it was a fight to the death)

Tyson was sharp in the first 2 rounds and landed a couple of punches that with normal gloves could have troubled but after that he was done. He put up a good effort so fair play to him and the utuber showed respect in round 8 to gain some credit back but it was all a bit of a farce really
