Tonight isn't it around 4am ?

How's this gonna go

Personally I hope tyson knocks his block off
The whole thing is scripted. Expect a draw or someone to win by marginal points. Unfortunately this celeb boxing is just a massive cash cow for the guys in the ring.

Bet you watch the highlights on yt though 🤣

Look, you don’t know me or anything about me, but I love boxing. Real boxing. I’m no fighter myself, I could barely crush a grape (Stu Francis reference), but I think it’s a sport which is permanently desperate for credibility.

Terrible judging, refereeing, mismatches, and - yes - worked fights are a reality across all levels of boxing.

Something like this comes along now and again and makes (more of) a mockery of the sport and I don’t like it.

Will I watch the YouTube highlights? Probably, it’s worth the fraction of penny they’ll get in revenue and the two five second ads. Would I buy this ridiculous farce like a chump? No.

We all know that
I'm just an old fella that remembers Tyson in his prime
And would love to see one last hurrah
And knock this big gob out

I agree this fight is a joke and should never of been sanctioned but you do realise this isn't a PPV fight.

Tyson looks in great shape. If I was betting id be having a small wager on Tyson early doors. Anything past Round 3 and I'd imagine he's toast

If he was wearing 10oz fighting gloves, he may pack a punch, but he'll be wearing training gloves, so Jake won't feel it.

It's pathetic & they're only doing it for the cash (which is fine).
Jake Paul is a nauseating little twat & if it hasn't already been decided that Tyson is going to win then I think Tyson should just knock the little gobshite out anyway! It's difficult actually as Tyson isn't exactly a 'fair' boxer, biting someones ear off is not good sportsmanship!
I dislike both & don't actually like boxing but I thought I'd comment anyway as I rolled my eyes when I saw it this morning. 😁

If you are thinking of watching the Paul v Tyson fight, don't bother. Think there were probably more punches landed in any single round of the 2 fights prior than were thrown in the whole fight.

The 2 fights before that were far better fights and probably worth watching if you get the chance, and both definitely should have had a far higher billing over that novelty match-up (especially with titles on the line in both) & Taylor v Serrano should have been the headline fight regardless, especially as the first fight they had was, and it wouldn't have disappointed.

Another Jake Paul farce but they both made ridiculous money. There were clearly moments where they were holding punches back, and Tyson could barely move after the first round.

I threw about the same number of punches as Tyson in rounds 3-8 and I was in bed motionless so I did not disturb the wife.

The crowd got bored. It was just an old bloke staggering around after he was hurt by a weak glancing blow in the second round.

That was awful. It might have actually damaged the latest craze of YouTubers fighting. There won’t be a rematch. Curious viewers like me won’t bother with such a thing again.

I happened to wake up at 5am and put it on. I wish I was still sleeping instead as I have a long day ahead.

Taylor/Serrano was decent, the guy in Serrano's corner (trainer?) was a mouthy prick. I thought Caroline Dubios was supposed to be on the bill, must have got that wrong.

Just reading about it from the BBC live text.

The documentary series was good, I'll admit *that* was/is worth watching as I'm a sucker for a good sports doc. But even that didn't "sell the fight" to me. A YouTuber vs an old man was essentially a monumental waste of everyone's time as expected. But they both got paid a staggering amount of money so it'll keep on happening.
