Got blown out yesterday but have won in the past (Empics picture - absolute quality). I was 'for' him and he messed up on one of the ones he was suppoed to 'know'.

H & J are brilliant - really funny guys who genuinely care about the game.

One of the joys of working at home

Five Live yesterday had the Wrexham Fans chairman on: and gave him plenty of time in a top slot (about 6.30pm.) Then they followed it up talking to Jonathan Pearce - and that guy does know his stuff. He spoke about what's going on down there, mentioned that Brighton fans were getting behind Wrexham in bug numbers, and also Hull fans. I have a huge amount of respect for that guy, he really knows his football and the issues - unlike Alan Green BTW, who is a total t****r.

Great work, Easy... absolutely hit the nail on the head... and I read somewhere that there are more fans of the FL than the Prem... perhaps Talksport need to review their Prem bias?...

To be honest, King and Cass probably don't have the knowledge or intelligence to be able to converse in any great depth about the subject :lolol:

Dear

We are in receipt of your communication.

Whilst appreciating how frustrating the situation is, other than assuring you that The League does not wish to lose any club and continues to maintain a dialogue with Wrexham, there is nothing further we can add.

Thank you for contacting The Football League.

I would like to pledge my support for Wrexham FC... being a Brighton fan, I
know what the Wrexham fans are going through, since we suffered, and are still
suffering, a similar plight...

Please can you let me know what the Football League plan to do to stop
unscrupulous people from wrecking football club's and, in particular at this
time, Wrexham?...

Time to be more pro-active...

Thank you...

... agreed, RA... and that REALLY p1sses me off, big-time... perhaps Easy is right... we need to get the media interested 1st, then the FL may actaully take some pro-active action to avoid debacles like Wrexham's and ours...

If I phoned up right now, I'd call someone something I shouldn't. They won't want anyone gatecrashing their next Premiership love-in anyway, I'd be off as soon as I mentioned the "lower leagues".

You can also see this type of behaviour on Soccer AM, Helen Babe is cool about it and actually will dicuss Lower League teams being a Torquay fan herself, but Tim not-nice-but dim, his eyes just glaze over if you mention any team or player from outside the top ten in the premiership.

He's an arse..

The premiership are a money making machine that sells it self so much better than the football league.

and gets the coverage so when the fans want to talk about the important aspect of saving a club the media shun away because they have been brain washed to think that prmiership is the only thing

To be Honest i dont know many premiershit supporters who know about Wrexhams plight or even worse care about it

some of then should look at there own team as if they got relegated most would go out by business

I had a typical example from a Leeds fan, who posted "good luck Wrexham" on a "Help save Wrexham" thread on another message board.

When I questionned what he thought that would actually acheive, he came up with a load of bollocks.

It is just pure ignorance if you look at that thread all the premiership supporters wish good luck and thats it apart from the leeds twat who still thinks he in the top flight.

Would he like us to say good luck and not help if leeds go under which they might espically if they go down again which is a possibility

actually Ali I think you were a little out of order on that thread and lost the point. Some guy wishes them good luck, and you basically say wishing good luck isnt good enough, he needs to put his hand in his pocket. Whether he has/hasnt can afford/not afford you dont know, its up to each individual. Then you ask someone

quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mike H, will you be wearing Red on Saturday
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

well thats not putting his hand in his pocket. Sure it raises awareness, and shows support. However one person wishing 'good luck' also does in a small way
