Two things I wish the club had told me BEFORE I went to my presentation last Friday

The A21 guys were at their presentation for 4.5 hours because they had to book 80 odd seats.
I imagine they reserved their block of 80 and they would appear as red/reserved until al 80 deposits were paid, thus making them sold.

A21 had 28 people who were priority 1 so they were well within their rights to buy 80 seats.

They weren't reserved, they were purchased there and then!

Out of interest, and as I said above I wouldn't hold this against you guys either way, did 20 people go to the presentation, or were a few allowed to buy all those tickets on the day?

This is what I meant, it is not possible to take 80 deposits in one go, so they booked their 80 seats whilst in attendance, and their seats were reserved while they went through the process of taking 80 deposits.

I think your missing the point. If, when ringing the hotline you had stated that it was difficult getting time off, they would have told you when your earliest appointment would be and that would be when you could have rung up to book your tickets without attending the presentation or give the forms to your mates to purchase on your behalf. As I understand it, the club aren't going to bend over backwards because they want people at the presentations to flog the PSLs but if you can't go they aren't going to penalise you.

1. I wish the club had explained that people attending earlier presentations could "reserve" seats for friends attending later presentations (i.e. put seats around the ones you have chosen "on hold" to stop others from buying them).

2. I wish I had known that just one person could turn up and buy 45 tickets by themselves WITHOUT the need for all the other persons having to either book or turn up to a presentation.

If I had known either or both of the above before Friday a) I wouldn't have had to take an afternoon off work to attend and buy my own four tickets as my mate could have got them for me along with his own four, b) we could have sat with friends who had attended earlier presentations rather than be sitting a fair distance away from them, and c) I could have got seats closer to the front and centre of where I am currently sitting.

Oh well, its done now but perhaps the above information may help some of you who don't have presentations for a few weeks yet.
