apparently the two combatants have agreed to a dawn duel in the morning. They have already chosen weapons and have settled for pie stools at 10 metres
At least some people are pudding in the effort to keep up standards.
I shopped for my mother in Tesco Burgess Hill this morning and, despite the queues to get in and obvious frustrations, without exception, everyone, staff or customer alike was polite, friendly and patient.
Why on earth would (I assume adult men) fight over a tinned pie. It beggars belief.
Will they be charged with af-Fray Bentos?

Apparently neither of the men liked chicken and mushroom and wanted the steak and ale.
Crashing into elderly people as they fought, someone even lobbed a bunch of bananas at them!

Ah.....apparently they've always been war-like, but I never knew they came as far South as Burgess Hill.
It is, however, the singly worst laid out supermarket I've ever had the misfortune to shop in. I'm not sure what it is, but it's just somehow *wrong*.
Definitely not the same layout as other Tesco's.Never been there but don't the various chains always stick to the same layout?
We always did in my day in retail.
a cold pork pie caught him right under the eye and Ernie bit the dust
Just goes to show class difference between a Tesco and Waitrose shopperThe same thing happened in Waitrose over the last lobster.
