The league basement battle too.
Mansfield vs Wrexham - both adrift - loser will surely be relegated.

:GULP:

Good luck for tonight Capt. (not that I have anything against Mansfield either).

If it's not a stupid question - how bad would relegation be do you think? (apart from the embarrassment thing).

Is the Conference like a Div 5 now or do you suspect it's a frozen wastleland full of starved corpses and howling wolves that you can never escape from (I'm obviously not cheering you up here).

I'm quite looking forward to visiting the ZOMBIE wastelands of Grays and Kettering.
It'll go one of two ways won't it?
We'll bounce back stronger (Doncaster, Carlisle etc)
or we'll never be heard from again....York, Cambridge, Exeter.

EXCELLENT!

I will be sending a message to all of my daughter's Southampton-supporting friends, GLOATING at the fact that they will be looking forward to trips to Hartlepool, Cheltenham and Walsall, not to mention maybe MKDons, Peterborough and Darlington

I cannot WAIT.
I've just spend 5 minutes on thesaintsforum.co.uk.

Very pleasant and highly amusing reading. They really do think they've got it bad, the sad twats.

Dark days for them though. After being in a position of supremacy for so many years, it must be particularly sickening for them to see Pompey going from strength to strength in the Prem and being on the brink of a probable FA Cup win, whilst they slip abjectly down to the third division under a new manager who has all the guile and charisma of a fish finger.

Just a note; Even a DRAW for Wednesday tonight will actually be enough to send Saints PLUMMETING into the DROP ZONE.

Paddy, the dumbarse, has driven up to Doncaster today with the two oldest Starry Children for the game. All three of their tickets are sat in front of me here at home. He hasn't realised yet.

Call Donny now and they can print off duplicates for him to pick up. Easier than him trying to blag it. PG

I looked for you saturday - I ended up in the seats by the stairs that lead to the Press area.

Paddy said you would be there with the baby...but I didnt see you unfortunately

I already got in touch with our Leeds ticket office once I realised and they have faxed over to Donny and he has to go and pick some form up before kick off from them. He won't answer his mobile which is probably shoved somewhere in the car and he is probably in the pub so I have no way of telling him this. I tried a few of our football friends but they are not with him though are going to try and locate him. Heh. What a moron.

Oh really Dave :( I was up and down, I had both Romilly and Oisín with me by about the 55th minute we retreated downstairs to the lounge area because Rom was cold. He did tell you were radio-ing but I assumed that meant that lovely scaffolding type walkaway behind me, not that you were in the posh seats as well.
