On the subject of the Maximo Park album, those of you who have it, what do people think of the track 'Acrobat' - Art school bollocks or Pulp-esque brilliance? I'm firmly in the latter camp as it reminds me of F.E.E.L.I.N.G.C.A.L.L.E.D.L.O.V.E.

No, unfortunately not as I missed out on the Hove/Brighton gig.

Generally speaking, they're not very like Pulp, though there are a few 'angsty about relationship' lyrics (not a bad thing)

Big Mama Thornton does an astounding version, and I once saw Harvey Mandel play an outrageous guitar version in a small club in Hollyweird. Mindblowing, but my video-cam was powerless to record it. Isn't that always the way it goes?
