Two Centre-Halves

There has been discussions on here for who would start as our 2 centre-halves this season (presumming a 4-4-2 formation).

So, this poll is the chance for you to vote on who you think should be Albions first choice defensive partnership.

And I say Elphick and Hawkins.

Elphick and Lynch. Compliment each other well and have the potential to go on to be a great pairing.

Without Lynch there is no pace and you can't not play Elphick.

Ditto..with Hawkins taking the lead and bossing Elphick...if you know what I mean.

On todays showing alone I would say Lynch and Hawkins as I thought that Lynch hada good first half and Hawkins mastered their Centre forward, who was big and awkward quite well and despite being shorter than him he won most of the balls in the air.

Elphic and Lynch. Just look at the performances they put in last season at the likes of Forest and Leeds away. No complaints from me

I've voted Elphick and Hawkins, though Elphick Lynch would be good too. Thing is I can't see where Virgo is going to play as we have better options at centre forward and right back as well. Will he be happy on the bench? Will Adams leave him out?

Elphick and Lynch know each others game, did superb last year + now year older. Can't see where Virgo is going to fit in, no better than what we had last year in any position and wasn't that impressed with Hawkins but hopefully that is just pre season and settling in.

Elphick and Lynch know each others game, did superb last year + now year older. Can't see where Virgo is going to fit in, no better than what we had last year in any position and wasn't that impressed with Hawkins but hopefully that is just pre season and settling in.

Not so sure about that - how many times did we go a goal down early doors? OK may not have been their fault entirely each time, but I think Hawkins would be a steadying influence along side one of either Lynch or Elphick, a younger Tank if you like.

My first name on the teamsheet would be JOEL, then either Hawkins or Elphick alongside him. Overall, I'll go for Lynch and Hawkins.

How could you have Joel ahead of Elphick? Elphick was famtastic last year and Joel is liable to make the odd mistake.
