You wonāt start an argument with me, I agree with everything thing you sayAt the risk of starting another argument The criteria has changed for EU citizens post Brexit - EU citizens that were living in the UK up to the 31 December 2020, will still retain their candidacy rights. After this dates, it depends on whether or not there is a reciprocal agreement in place for each Member State that allows British citizens living in the EU to stand for election. These are being separately negotiated. So far only Spain, Poland, Luxembourg and Portugal have reciprocity with the UK so any citizen of another European Country who arrived after 2020 will lose their voting and candidacy rights.
