This weekend the good people of the South East have had two problems-
1/ The heat.
2/ Illegal immigrants from France
I think I've come up with a solution. It's cooler up north.
The immigrants come across the channel because it's only 40 miles.
There are lots of Cruise Liners doing nothing at the moment so lets send them to Scotland and hook them up to the coast line. Then as one they could haul Great Britain north by around 75 miles.
Problems solved.
