Twenty20 next season

Can someone tell me how is the format going to be changed (expanded) next season.

And I know it's now been scrapped, but what was ever the point of P20, a second T20 competition in the same domestic season?

They have scrapped the Pro 40, but added more Twenty20 games. They have not expanded the season, and already seen what damage too much cricket does to Pietersen and Flintoff.

I think they are thinking of making The County Championship season shorter, by reducing it to 12 games instead of 16, or the possibility of THREE divisions instead of 2.

There should just be one big Twenty20 competition, not two smaller ones which have less meaning, but more money (but no funding)

Thankyou gentlemen, but specifically I am interested to know exactly what the new format is going to be. At the moment, it's just a round robin between all teams in your division I think.

Personally, I'd like to see a format where you play all teams in your division home and away, then every other league team once a season.

Am I, as a potential punter, going to find it easier to get to matches

Finer details of the remaining Twenty20 Cup's regulations, including the number of overseas players permitted per county, are yet to be announced but the new-look competition is to be played throughout the whole season rather than in one short, sharp burst and predominantly on Thursdays, Fridays and at weekends.
