Well, if we need to use our youngsters, then i think they are certainly capable of being good replacements for any injuries or bans.

I suspect if the right player became available at the right price there is some cash to buy them but quite rightly (if belatedly) the club are damping down expectation. A young player like Vokes on a loan to buy deal though could still happen and I know we have made a bid for Jara Reyes so the cupboard cannot be entirely bare.

Tbh, I'd rather we saved until next Season, we are not going down or up this Season. I'mm sure it's a juggling act between ground and training facility development versus big money transfers as well.

Over there
I thought Gus said a few weeks ago that he sat down with Bloom and worked out how much cash he could splash in the January transfer window and had also got assurances that he would have an increased budget in the summer for a push to the play offs next season.

naylor knows f*** all

Just like the rest of us then.....I suspect there is a few quid knocking around, but I wonder what Mr Bloom really think's of Gus's spending so far since the end of last season. There has been a lot of money spent on wages and fee's with very little pay back from some quarters. I suspect he is a little more cautious with his cash than he was a few months ago with Gus and who could blame him.

Not with our strict wage policy

In what way is it strict? One said Murray wanted more than our wage structure would allow, then CMS, Vienetta and the others came, all apparently on far more than Murray was ever on, and I think it considered common knowledge that both CMS and the Dogger are on considerably more than Glenda was asking for, so what is out strict policy then?

our top earner is on 9 grand a week, sopretty strict, and thats the problem, willallchange next year if we stay in this league

Only a few weeks ago in the Argus it was reported that Poyet and Bloom had discussed finance to bring in players to push for promotion but now Naylor is saying that there is no money as it was spent in the summer. Either the Argus was printing nonsense, Naylor does not know what he is talking about( would this be the first time) or the club are waiting for monies generated from the sale of our best players.
