The Office - An American Workplace.
In its 5th season now, and being an American version there's about 20 episodes per season. Same characters as the UK version (different names) but they've all had a chance to develop. Shown in the US on Thursday evenings, it's my first job to download it every Friday.

30 Rock is one of the funniest shows I've seen for ages. It's made Friday nights an absolute joy.

John Adams - if you have a bit of time.

John Adams looked really interesting but it was on at a ridiculous time - about 5.00 on a Sat evening IIRC (and it wasn't available on demand).

There's some bizarre scheduling on British TV some times. Mad Men is another show that looked really good but was shown at a ludicrously late hour and, again, was not available on demand.

It does annoy me that there's loads of dross between 7.00 and 10.00 most evenings and some decent shows are offered tantalisingly out of reach.

John Adams is very high quality telly (Second President of the US) - about 30 hours of TV too I should think.

Inbetweeners should resonate with every bloke. Very highly recommended.

Red Dwarf might be worth a revisit.

Boston Legal - brilliant and off the wall.
