I'm looking at a small bedroom TV for jnr.
I know I'm being a 'Granddad' here but I figured he ought to have (his last ever) DVD player, as well.
Having weighed up my options, I'm all sorted but just to underline my out of touch status I have a couple of points.
Firstly, a Sony DVD player for £22.
When I were a lad you weren't getting any change from 3 figures.
I'd hate to think what I would pay for a 'cheap' one.
Now HDMI cables - Currys sell them from £50 to £6, making the £5.99 ones seem like a bargain.
Amazon starting price is 60p.
WTF.
