My TV is all set up but my son doesn't understand why I have bought a firestick as he says everything on it is already on the Smart TV.

but what you are going to put on the firestick, you can't put on the smart TV.

the app LiveNet TV is also worth having for sports

Personally I wouldn't bother with Kodi as there are fewer working apps these days
