We've not got a flash tv, but its never broken and its about 5 years old.

Get one of those "Schriener" efforts from ASDA, the f***ing things break down every few months and you have a years warranty..hey presto, a new TV every few months, forever.

Mind you the endless trips back and forth are a tad wearing.
