The John Cleese Specsavers ad where he beats the cop car made me smile the first couple of times.

Great bit of advertising strap line 'should have gone to Specsavers'. Advertising person who came up with that line must have got his Xmas bonus, built a whole bunch of ads off of it.

Generally ads are crap and I either mute them or go make a cuppa if watching live TV (or FF if recorded or watch Netflix).

The thing about adverts that REALLY REALLY p1sses me off is that the TV Co's deliberately broadcast the sound louder for ads than the programmes. Was a big complaint to Offcomm (I think) about it some years ago but they said 'it's not a problem we can do a anything about'.

Agreed, maddening especially as they wake me up if I have gone to sleep watching something

This one doesn’t make me laugh or smile. Just bawl. Was released not so long before my only child left for university, bless her.

Great ad, not seen that

Blimey, you're easily pleased.

Icy Gull is in the extreme pro-Potter “Best season ever” camp.
People of that persuasion like everything.

I think you’ll find it’s the “best season since the season before last” camp

You make it sound like being pro Potter is some sort of nasty affliction

And I don’t like everything, I’m not liking your bullying posts today

Can't post it as I'm at work but the old Kia Ora advert was great.

I'll be your dawg......

If someone could post...

When I was a kid, this was on children’s telly and played at my local cinema too, so I have fond memories of it. And it’s very original and well done.
