travelled all over europe to see arsenal,just cant be bothered with the whole england thing,spend enough watching the gooners ,cant justify spending even more on following such a big pile of cack also find the whole in -ger -land thing a bit embarassing ,surrounded by face painted twats whove never been to a game in their lives

Just ignore it, go to bars they are not in.

The whole thing is a lot better than it was even 8 years ago.

Come on UB, you have to admit that when England are in town the atmosphere is, well, different.

Don't get me wrong, it's not all bad. Huge numbers, fantastic support, spend a lot of money, and much more mixing with the locals and other fans than people give England credit for.

But there is also always a slight undercurrent, a hunch that things could kick off if certain scenarios played out, which isn't the case with other national sides.

Obviously they (your Greeks/Portuguese/Italians etc) have their own crosses to bear - Euro love-ins all kissing each in the fountains.

I do not disagree with that, but rarely have I been caught in the middle of anything, probably the worst being Euro 2000 in Brussels.

In all the years I have supported BHA, IMO that characterised Seagull is the best I have ever seen !

We need to get that badge somewhere in the club.

He should be called Gripper Gully !!

I reckon you could get a few hundred t-shirts with that on with some punchy slogan on it and they would sell !!

The club could even ditch nice little Gully and bring in 'Gripper Gully'
