Is this simply a one on one spat or are there other forces behind in play here,we are told by the MSM it,s down to USA iron/steel tariffs but is there more to this and how serious to trade to the EU or wider afield is this ?

1) Misunderstanding between Trump and Erdogan over a pastor and a Turkish woman being released?
2) Turkish economy just ready to blow and Trump raking advantage?
3) general unpopularity of Turkish government and Trump seeing an easy win?
4) Erdogan like a bull in a china shop and Trump showed him a red rag?

This show could run and run...... and everyone gets to play.

Just to widen things a little, if you were of a mind that Putin is oulling the strings having Turkey move closer to Russia is exactly what he wants.
