Tunnicliffe has gone to Wycombe on a free transfer. Should free up even more money for players.

The right decision in my decision. He probably could have got us a fee, but if he wasn't in Gus' plans, the most important thing is to get him off the wage bill.

Played fairly well whenever I saw him and seemed to want to do well for us. Hope he does well in the future.

I cant see the association as he was so far out of Gus's plans that somebody would have been brought in to cover El Abd and Elphick irrespective of whether Tunnicliffe was here or not, dont think the saving on wages will be of majpor importance if a player is needed.

I thought Tunnicliffe was a very good young player, better than Elphick. My mates up at Stockport thought he was as good a player for them as Dicker was. Sorry to see him go TBH

Unlikely, I think we paid him a lump sum to essentially buy out his contract and release him, from where Wycombe then snapped him.

This, he was always letting the striker turn in the games I saw him play. Tidy enough on the ball for a centre back but he failed to do the basics required of a defender far too often.

Always thought he looked good on the ball, but the fact he couldn`t tackle was always going to work against him as a defender.

Hopefully now Tunnicliffe has gone, we've got a suitable replacement lined up. Because this is where we need strengthening most for next season.
