after extra time, 90 minutes 0-0, Brighton & Hove Albion won 3-1 on penalties

A classic, I seem to remember there were less than 100 of us that made the trip!

I remember Barry Lloyd had difficulty getting the players to commit to taking a penalty, saying after he thought he might have to take one!

I recall Plymouth playing us off the park, but they just couldn't score, then they fluffed all but 1 pen !

Didn't that happen a couple of times? I remember on the night John Major ousted Maggie thatcher we played them in the Zenith cup and won on penalties. We then did the conga in the away end. Perry Digweed made a couple of saves, I believe.

I was there a trip to Union street had to be abandoned after game as we had to get train back around midnight so stayed in pub near station.

so how many of us went to Norwich to see us beat 5-0?????
That'll be me

Yeap I was there too another nightmare with trains for this one as well as London cabbie refused to take us back to Victoria. Got back to Brighton about 06:30 breakfast in bystander and of to work for 08:00. To say I didn't do much that day is an understatement.
